About Decay: The Mare
Guide Sam through a nightmarish institution as he battles psychological horror and unravels the dark secrets trapping him in an endless nightmare. This psychological adventure pays homage to classic survival horror and adventure games with atmospheric storytelling, challenging puzzles, and all three chapters in one complete experience.
Sam is an addict who ends up in an institution named “Reaching Dreams”, hoping to kick his drug problem and sort out his miserable life. But during the first night, something goes horribly wrong and he gets stuck in an endless nightmare…
Decay – The Mare is a 3D psychological horror adventure and homage to the Resident Evil and Silent Hill games, as well as to horror adventure games like Phantasmagoria, The 11th Hour and Gabriel Knight.
For the first time the compelling, high-tension Adventure is available in one package, including an exclusive third chapter that will bring Sam’s journey to an end.
Decay’s developer Shining Gate Software is a small indie studio located in Stockholm, Sweden. The studio is best known for their work with DICE and Electronic Arts on the Battlefield franchise and for their own Decay series, released on multiple platforms.

This game is pretty awesome. Good story, horror feel, and gameplay. Since it's "mouse only" you can eat queso dip while you play which is pretty cool. 8.5/10 Good Price and Random Queso.15 found this helpful
Interesting story. Although, in my lack of thinking skills, I am still piecing up why the events that lead to the game happened. Other than that, great tense moments, most of the jumpscares did get me
Overall just not fun or particularly scary for me. Puzzles didn't feel satisfying to solve, the scares were cheap, but there is potential here. Not going past chapter 1 though, trying to navigate the house was infuriating.
A typical Tuesday for Sam: withdrawal in the morning, pills in the afternoon, bloody visions of severed hands in women's purses in the evening
The best part of this game was the 6'4 250lb 60 year old polish woman, everything else sucks. I paid .78 cents more than I should have
