Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum

This is a gorgeous, obtuse game. It feels like it doesn't want to be understood on purpose. The soundtrack is outstanding! The art style is beautiful, too. The gameplay is simple, and the puzzles never become esoteric, so you'll never get stuck.

This was by far the best story driven game I've got the pleasure of playing, had me feeling in ways I didn't think I can feel. Music is top notch. Writing, art style and characters really inspired me. i feel like i learned alot just by playing this game. I'm really curious about the people who made this game possible. I have not played it's prequel "Little goody two shoes" yet but i plan to play it as soon as i can! [spoiler] I'm quite sadden that there is no definite "good ending" though i guess that's just why this game is so good. Atleast to me. [/spoiler]

i really love this game, played a lot when was on itch.io and will easily put many hours into this again now that it is on steam.

I was torn about giving the game a thumbs up or down. In the end, I chose up. It is, without a doubt, a solid game, and worth the price when you buy them in a bundle or on their own. This game is a remaster, with the gameplay staying exactly the same as before; absolutely lovely visual changes and well done music. So while it now has sprites and character art that is on par with it's chronological prequel, but published sequel, Little Goody Two Shoes, many parts of the game that I find a little too frustrating. The two games, Goldentraum and LGTS, were published the same year, so I found it frustrating that a lot of the much-appreciated QOL additions in LGTS were neglected in PMGT. The movement on the oddly large grid felt choppy, the UI seemed a little sloppy, and there were enough sequences where I found the game to have poor story beats vs save points that, unless you made a lucky choice on the first go, left you dead and forcing you to replay the entire cutscene over and over and over with every attempt you made. AWESOME GAME !! One of the best games I’ve ever played so far, has a great story (really really great lore) and with super good graphics !! I find it also great that it has multiple endings and I really enjoy the art style when they tell you a story (but I like every artstyle there is in the game) I also really like the fact they give you multiple choices and the riddles/puzzles that we need to solve !! (I haven’t played the game since like 3 months sooo this is all I remember BUT ITS RLLY GOOD PLAY and if you don’t have money watch a gameplay or wait for a discount like I did !!)
