Fight through steampunk wastelands solo or with a co-op partner, choosing from six unique mercenaries to take down the Chaos Engine's mechanical horrors across four dynamic worlds. This enhanced remake of the classic Amiga run-and-gun lets you experience the original's brutal arcade action with modernized controls or switch to Classic mode for the authentic 90s feel.
Choose from six hard-nailed mercenaries each with their own unique weapons and skills.
Those who have the strength and skill to overturn the Chaos Engine will be remembered.

Classic Bitmap Brother's retro-gaming steampunk co-op goodness, but a mixed re-release. Things to be aware of: - Other than a bloom effect on select sprites (shots, explosions, etc) this pretty much identical to an emulator experience. This release isn't bringing anything new to the table. - Colour differences between the original Amiga (more muted) and the PC versions can be divisive. So if you grew up on the Amiga version that could be an obstacle. - It's a hard game and there's no difficulty selection on the PC version (this was only a feature in the SNES version I believe). - The Mac binary is 32bit only so won't run on any current version of macOS and the Windows version won't run through Crossover. Ironically meaning it's easier to run the original than this updated version. Anyway, hopefully some of that was useful.3 found this helpful

Give me D-Pad controls ffs, this feels so bad on a joystick. It's so basic to add.
game wont start for me no matter how much i adjust the window size and even worse in full screen mode. game wont even get to main menu. not gonna recommend this game when this is happening
