The real highlight here is the tech, the gfx are incredible aswell as the sound design. There's enough game to be interesting and it's surprisingly challenging too, but the game suffers a bit from programmer brain, where we program for programming's sake and the user is secondary. For example, while the upgrades and interactions are all really cool and unique, as a user I don't have to interact with the mechanics any further than "take item with keywords I already have" which is a shame. Like, make me work for upgrades (gather coin so I can spec into what I want between rounds) or make decisions more strategic (different builds for different enemy types; mutations have more tradeoffs). Either way a really unique and cool game and definitely worth 3 bucks. There's a lot of potential there and I'll keep an eye out for whatever Anodaxia releases next!

I really enjoy this game for its quick roguelike bursts when I want a pallet cleanser game or just a short amount of free time. The game mechanics feels very impactful and the deck building aspects force you to change things up each time to see different parts of the game.

Unique, relaxing, unexpected and small. 9/10 waiting for sequel.

I play all the survivorslikes, and it's always a joy when you come across one that's doing things different. This one has a few unique variations going for it: there are just 3 weapons, and the build variation comes from how you mix them and their upgrades. The art is trippy and cool. And there's a giant "pebble" you run into to slam around the screen, turning the game into a crazy roguelite air hockey game. Plays really well on the deck. Definitely worth your 3 bucks.
