8.5/10 game that's a 10/10 piece of sci-fi media

Overall a good game with good optimisation , good world creation and graphics too. Story was also quite interesting if you are a Sci Fi genre lover. I am playing for second time and almost going to complete it. Main selling point of game for me was its Combat. For cons i would say that optimisation of the game overall is good but in npc areas its gets frame drops. I did had a 1050ti , 3060ti and now current 9060xt 16gb and still facing some stuttering and inconsistency in fps in NPC areas. Might be a cpu bound thing with my CPU.

Ive done all the main game stuff up to the main questline and am just touching frozen wilds... had no idea i was already 119hrs in, its incredible. If you like stealth, sci-fi, robots, good story, etc this is a great game. 10/10

8/10 I played through the original version on both PC and PS4. The remaster version is beautiful and it's a nice way to get me back to playing this game as I thoroughly enjoy it. I have a few gripes that I'm discovering or rediscovering. I just completed the first cauldron and forgot that doing the final sequence (trying to be spoiler free) would hard lock you out of picking up loot if you forgot to. That makes it feel like a total waste of my time as I missed out on the good loot. I wish there was something to warn you before doing that. A minor gripe I have is that sometimes the mouths aren't synced up well during dialogue and its kind of distracting. Visually the game is beautiful and the combat is fun so far. Just be sure to make your FOV higher as the camera is super close to your character. If you have any questions while playing definitely look up a guide because there aren't too many warnings and you can lock yourself out of stuff like my Cauldron incident.

Nice to see a good remaster for once

I had this game in my playlist for like a year before I tried it. One of my all-time favorite games. The gameplay is amazing, and the visuals are some serious eye-candy. Photo mode alone gave me hours of gameplay lol Also, the voice acting is ace, and dependent on your conversational choices, Aloy's character completely changes. My second playthrough she seemed totally different than my first (and I usually never ng+). It's just a masterpiece of a game.
