More of a time/knowledge/energy sink than it's worth if you played the first one, not the worst game I've played, certainly not the best. Average to mediocre writing and voice acting mixed with tedious combat leads to some awfully bad sections in this game. It shines sometimes, It's really rough in others. Overall I'd say pass.

Being a PS game it is slow af at times, but the gameplay more than makes up for that.
I have a great memory playing the first Horizon. I just finished university and didn't know what to do next. Killing machines and bad guys with bows and arrows filled that time. Forbidden West is more of that. Beautiful game with smooth combat. My only issue is the occasional graphic glitches but tweaking the settings have helped.
