Great game, a classic, throws you in as Tycho the former captain and you have to find out why Tycho's ex-boyfriend who he remembers as a sweetheart is now a tyrant taking over planets and killing innocents! BE AWARE!! The humor of this game is sexual and plays into stereotypes of LGBTQ+ from time to time but it's a very fun point and click especially if you want want tongue and cheek LGBTQ+ games to play!! It came out in 2012 and surprisingly still has a very worth it feel, a game that tells a pretty good story, although the second game (Escape from Pleasure Planet) does have a stronger story with more funny bits I do personally find worth it. To think this game came out about 13 years ago, it's surprisingly the only gay point and click I've found along with it's sequel!

My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant is a deliberately unconventional point-and-click adventure that takes the familiar structure of a science-fiction rescue story and gives it a much more personal, romantic, and campy identity. Developed and published by Up Multimedia, it centers on retired space captain Tycho Minogue, who is drawn back into interplanetary trouble when a powerful tyrant begins imposing his rule across the galaxy. What initially resembles a straightforward battle between hero and villain soon develops into something more personal, combining Tycho's history and relationships with the larger conflict. The result is an adventure built around comedy, romance, mystery, loss, and science-fiction absurdity rather than action or spectacle. Gameplay follows the traditions of classic point-and-click adventures. Exploration, conversations, environmental observation, item collection, and puzzle solving form the core of the experience. Instead of testing reflexes, the game encourages players to investigate each location carefully and determine how characters, objects, and clues fit together. One of the more well known and popular Australian LGBTQI+, this has been on the playlist forever ! Being a Point-and-Click, the graphics, story, and puzzles were all fairly straightforward and almost predictable; which was in itself disappointing. Besides that, it was reminiscent of Space Quest VI, in the sort of dialogue, jokes, and its nature; which gave me a joyful and solid bit of nostalgia.

Gay game. Gay. Very gay. The point and click adventure game experience was stereotypical of the genre, but that's good cause it seeks to be a parody with gay representation. It's a worthy experience. I liked the diverse range of hot boys. And I liked the ambiance and settings.
