About Marble Mountain

Marble Mountain combines the retro game play of Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball with the cinematic experience of Indiana Jones to deliver an exciting adventure anyone can enjoy, but with depth for gamers to master. Balance, roll and puzzle your way through increasingly difficult levels on your way to the top of the mountain.

Most Marble’s spend their days drunkenly smashing into each other or hide in constant fear that the finger of god will come along and flick them. However once in a great while there comes a Marble who is brave enough to leave town and seek glory by traversing to the top of the Mountain and seek the treasure every Marble knows to be there!
  • An Epic Journey - balance at precarious heights and navigate treacherous environments on your quest to the top of the mountain to return the stolen treasures from the temple
  • Tricks, Traps and Treasure - dodge deadly Mettalan cubes, solve puzzles and collect all the gold aurums you can find!
  • Amazing Handcrafted Levels - traverse increasingly difficult levels with rolling green hills, spooky graveyards, ancient temples, unforgiving volcanoes, dry deserts, sky-high mountain tops, snow-capped summits and dangerous cliffs
  • Thrilling Adventure - avoid massive boulders, flee oncoming avalanches, and tumble down titanic waterfalls
  • Play it your way - take it slow, enjoy the sceney, and explore every optional path. Or speed run every level and compete in the global leaderboards
  • Collect them all - new Marble skins can be unlocked in every level as well as a variety of nifty hats. Are you up to the challenge?
  • Immerse yourself - put on your Oculus Rift, OSVR or HTC Vive headset and enjoy the third person perspective. Peek around the corner, survey the panoramic levels, or push your boundaries and look straight down into the foggy depths of the mountain (please note the game play experience is not compromised for non-VR gamers)

Starts out decent at first, but gets incredibly frustrating quick. Quite a few checkpoint placements that are out of place and require redoing things over and over. If you're in an indoor level there is a severe lack of lighting showing where you can't and can't go. Some of the puzzles are really obtuse. The music is extremely loud and you'll have to slide it almost all the way down to a tolerable level, but a few minutes later it slowwwwly goes back to full blast. And the Indiana Jones aspect?? Not much to say really, you can get a hat that kind of looks like Indy's, but I was expecting some sort of storyline or cutscenes like in the Lego games where they don't talk and you just watch. Nope. And speaking of hats, I'm not exactly sure the devs thought it was a good idea to make so many hats available for your marble to "wear". To me it made it more difficult to judge jumps, speed etc. Pretty sure the devs are done with working on the game so unfortunately there probably won't be any more updates, which is a shame because it does have potential...but it still needs a lot of fine tuning.

Friend pointed out that I had bought this in 2021, but only spent 2 minutes on it. Maybe it was a$$ 4 years ago, but today, I really enjoyed its simplicity. Use a controller for all marble games. Played non-VR mode.

If your longing to play Marble Madness again then this is the one to try. Way better graphics and more in depth. Be careful though you just might get motion sick syndrome from all the spinning and zooming around LOL...
