Marble's Marbles

truly just a far worse version of Ballance (unfortunately, Ballance is very old and the steam version is hardly stable). worse level design, a very unsatisfying & floaty physics engine, and some really unpleasant sound effects. also the isometric camera is used pretty poorly, and is mostly just confusing - if the game had a perspective based camera it would be far more readable and fair. ill play a little longer, because i have little time-played and there are a lot of positive reviews, and i like ball rolling games quite a bit, but im really not won over so far

Where are the tutorial levels? this goes against any "get used to the controls" philosphy first sections should be onrails not marble dark souls

I genuinely had a bad time playing this game.

Look, this may be an unfair review, but I bought this thinking more "Madness," but got more wonky roller ball physics in a map system, with a familiar aesthetic. I was hoping for more blocky designs, with multiple paths with risk and reward results, time limits, and the like- but this is more like hallways with orders, and zero reason to go quickly. I feel like I bought something on a false promise. Maybe it's just not my game.
