Butcher pig
We protect the magic cube from the monsters from hell.
STORY
There is a short comic story before each mission. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2831331724
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is a mixture of shooter and tower defense. Enemies attack our main building from certain points and follow the roads. We set traps on their way and meet them with a hero who can also fight. We have many types of weapons, traps and monsters here. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2831331786 Consider the pros and cons of the game, sum up.
PROS:
+ Nice graphics. + Good music and sound accompaniment. + Many types of weapons and traps. + Many types of monsters.
CONS:
- The game is a little slow and does not provide comprehensive information. For example, it is not clear exactly where the monsters are attacking.
CONCLUSIONS
Fans of tower defenses and shooting may like it. Lots of monsters, shooting and traps. Ultimate Summer, developed by Asmodev and published by Ultimate Games S.A., is a twisted blend of tower defense and first-person shooter that takes the idea of a peaceful vacation and violently flips it on its head. Set on a remote island that was meant to be a relaxing Viking-style getaway, the game quickly escalates into chaotic, blood-soaked madness. You play as a retired butcher who ends up defending himself against increasingly bizarre and grotesque waves of enemies including creatures from Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, Cthulhu mythos, aliens, and even unexpected religious figures. The game’s tone is unapologetically irreverent and drenched in dark humor, wearing its absurdity like a badge of honor. At its core, Ultimate Summer combines the strategic depth of trap placement with the visceral thrill of FPS combat. The main gameplay loop involves building defenses during brief downtimes, placing a variety of traps around key areas, and then actively fighting off incoming hordes using a growing arsenal of weapons. The trap system is quite extensive, offering eighteen unique types that can each be upgraded through three levels, allowing players to tailor their defenses based on their …

For some reason, there are barely any reviews of this game. Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised. Here is mine review. Don’t expect a full release ever. The early access will stay forever, like when you forget the rest of your lunch in your backpack from June to September. The story is on the level of the Morbius movie, yet somehow it manages to be mildly entertaining. The gameplay is super simple and just repeats itself over and over through 14 “well-designed” levels. Collect resources, which reset every level, plant some nonsense into the ground, and repeat until you eventually quit the game. Using weapons is pointless because the controls are atrocious and for some reason you can´t jump. But hey, the game has a great name. So go ahead and grab it during the summer sale, just so there's at least something ultimate in your life. To sum it up, this game is like making one single hard-boiled egg for breakfast. Sure, it could’ve been better… but it’s still edible.

It's what you'd expect from Asmodev...a weird and wacky story, solid game-play and soundtrack, memorable characters and a sense of humor that ties it all together! This one has more of a dungeon-crawler feel than the other games, so keep that in mind, but it is totally worth the price of admission.
