After choosing 'new game', the game introduces you to the main character, and sets up the story using extremely broken English. You then walk around your apartment, where it tells you "use X to interact". Pressing 'X' does nothing; the actual interact key is 'E'. When you walk to the desk, a new menu pops up asking you to select a case. As far as I can tell, there is no actual way to select a case, and you're forced to alt+f4 here. BORING! Nothing happens. You walk around a "crime scene" and look for "evidence". Instead of using forensic equipment, you walk just past the "evidence" and a text box pops up. Thats is the game. You don't do much investigating. It's a waste of money.4 found this helpful

Even though this is a low production indie game, I decided to give it a try, as I'm a fool for everything Noir related. The game could be interesting, but unfortunately it's just painful to play. Controls and UI are horrible. The screen tips says "Press X to interact" when in reality it's E to interact. You get stuck in menus pressing all keys trying to find out how to do something. The gameplay itself consists of walking around in a room pressing E (not X) to look at suspicious objects. Stay away from this, kids.1 found this helpful
