This might actually be a more enjoyable experience, than the bulk of the games it lovingly emulates.

Very early into the game but so far it is absolutely LOVELY and great!! Reason being? There are SO MANY UNIQUE FEATURES in this game, it's really awe-inspiring and remarkable! Open-ended Job system, all sorts of interesting party-based mechanics, a bunch of followers to use in whatever Formations or Tactics you want, with each providing unique bonuses and options. There's a LOT here, and it's very very classy and well implemented. Combat is fun, a huge world is there to explore and the music and graphics are sweet too! I will be playing this much more in future, thank you KEMCO for making these awesome RPGs!

This is a really Interesting game. I was expecting more of a grind but its quite efficient all the way through. I enjoyed playing it a lot although I feel the elements it tried to deliver lacked in meeting a needed context. There is no point to any of the jobs besides the Three Leader Jobs as they are the only ones which benefit from scrolls. I was expecting to be able to raise Priests with Bard abilities or Duelists with Knight abilities. All I did was pump Abram with everything all game. Str Orbs, Vit Orbs, Skill Scrolls and whatever could be put onto him. It created a kind of monster that 2 Shot the Main Boss because the strongest attack has a max damage output of 99999. I had completely broken the game but it was fun to see how much further that could go. Its not something bad about the game but the uselessness of all of the other characters is. They just don't do enough damage, have enough MP or can withstand most attacks. They don't have the ability to equip things, opting for more of a stats only style but its just crap. Were it not for the Special characters you can get from gambling, I'd have had a much more terrible time with the party's usefulness. While the main foc…

was honestly surprised with this title. its simple yet complex and at a low cost. one of those generic plot wise rpgs where you band together to beat a dragon by procuring sacred weapons and it looks 8 bit but the battle system is quite complex for those wanting to pump the difficulty and maximise the swap and weakness tree. i needed something low stakes high rewards and this highly customizable experience did just that. dont like fights? turn down encounter rate. want to be op? play the lottery and use your points to buy accessories or gems. just buy it already!

So I guess this was a mobile game 1st but it does not feel like one. I can kind of see it because the graphics do seem to have been low resolution pixel graphics that have been up-scaled but it feels like an old NES game instead and that is a good thing. I have enjoyed this game and have no complaints. The instructions do not indicate this but the game works with my controller just fine, the keyboard works as well and if you really want to the mouse controls the game instructs you to use are actually good as well. This is classic 1980's JPRG style here, not fancy graphics and big epic movies and the writing is on that scale as well. Younger gamers might dislike that but I grew up with those games, this was a perfect fit and hey, that writing is better than the common RPG maker stuff floating around steam!

Written as I just finished recording my final episode on this. This is a really good game, its a good take on the old Dragon Quest NES games with a simple story, fun job system, and some pretty funny writing. I think it is a keeper for fans of rpgs. My only few gripes is the controls, the fact it was a mobile game with a coin shop (though here they let you earn the premium currency through battle) which can break the game (though for me I love breaking the game for the power trip LOL) and the fact this port on steam has no achievements. Like for real the ps4 port has trophies, I don't see why this game doesn't have achievements. But for all its problems and quirks, I still stay for 10 bucks totally a good deal, maybe wait for it to come on sale if you are on the fence but I defintally got my monies worth with this one.
