Survival Space: Unlimited Shooting is yet another of literally hundreds of lazy amateur 2D retro top-down shooters infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This arcade shoot'em up is basically a twin stick arena shooter where waves of minimalist/neon enemies come at you and you shoot them. The most remarkable thing about this is how unremarkable it is... in fact this is so shallow and spartan the game doesn't even have any settings. You can't even stop or quit the game when you're in the middle of a round! This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way …

The result is a lightweight but energetic experience that succeeds best when approached as a quick arcade challenge rather than a fully featured modern shooter. The gameplay loop is immediately familiar to anyone who has played retro-style space shooters. Players move freely around the screen while firing continuously at incoming enemies that attack from multiple directions. The controls combine keyboard movement with mouse aiming, creating a twin-stick shooter style that allows for constant mobility during combat. Enemy ships flood the battlefield rapidly, forcing players to dodge incoming attacks while maintaining offensive pressure at …
