Lucius III

I love the original Lucius, it's a janky. buggy mess that is just oh so compelling. Lucius II tried something else, but ended up quite boring. At least there was an attempt at something there. The demake is maybe the best example of a faithful adaptation you'll ever see. And with that I say do not play Lucius III. It seems like a return to normalcy, it seems like we're going back to the old formula. Figuring out the steps to get to a cinematic death scene. And it'll be fine for a while. You start to worry about the devs outlooks on life, but not more than you did when you were playing the second one. It'll be buggy here and there, but nothing worse than you're used of from the original Lucius. The worst part is that you might enjoy playing Lucius III for a bit. And when you think to yourself "Oh, we seem to be about halfway, I can't wait for the rest." the game ends. THIS GAME IS UNFINISHED. Effectively three whole chapters were lost. There's some optional murders that are easily missed that would've probably been part of the main story. They should have been. Even the writing alludes to the fact that we skipped three chapters. By far the worst game in this franchise, full of bugs, you can't save when you want, the story is a bit boring, I think the first and second parts are much much better

Let me just say: I love the concept of this game. The story is interesting, I like the aspect of running around the town and targeting different people, each with their own reasons and backstories. I especially love how it ties into the past games. But I cannot recommend it with the current bugs, lags, and game breaking problems it has. A portion of the ending is nonexistent for many - unfinished or broken, we're not sure - and that sucks. That said: If the devs were ever to return to this, fix the problems, and post a revamp/post talking about the cleanup? I'd download it and play it again. Maybe someday we'll get that. And I'll happily change my review in that case,.

Honestly playing for the fun of it. I love these story and all. I was able to get past the bugs mostly untill chapter 4 ish? the one at the motel. Ended up getting locked in the motel and unable to interact with anything at all. After reloading to earlier saves i still ended up without the ability to interact with anything. Is a shame because the actal basis ideas are good and could have been fun if not for all these bugs that make it unplayable. Glad i got this for cheap on CD KEYS. Dont pay full price x

Game had a stable framerate on high graphics, really fun kills and the charm of the original. Gameplay is wonderful despite the clunky jumping it is really fun and just awesome. Solid 8/10 please play.

I like the idea but the game is unusable, there is bugs everywhere. I restarted the whole story 3 times to maybe counter the bugs in order to play the game, no, nothing that I can do. I'm always stuck at the motel, the guy spotted me everytime. I hate to say it but I hate this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ third game. (as a fan of the first game)
