Eh getting softlocked on a rail shooter section where the guns sight does not line up with where the shots go does not give mutch faith in the rest of the game

This sequel has improvements to the gameplay of the first, but... I can't quite put my finger on it, but it lacks some of the charm... The lack of melee weapon is a definite downside, though. They even laughed at giving you a crowbar (and then they don't let you keep or use it... (because 'F%&$ Half-Life,' or something, I guess -- while highly subjective, I found the humor rather malicious in places, which personally was off-putting. It's like different writers made this one.) The teleport device also doesn't let you back-track in some places, so if you dropped down from that catwalk before checking out that one side path, you're out of luck unless you reload your save. The first game drew me in and had interesting story beats that kept me playing; this one immediately felt like a slog. Again, I can't quite put it to words, but I just... didn't like it. Maybe the pacing is wrong, or the digs at other games were in bad taste/poorly handled, but this one just isn't as good as the original. 'Sequels are not equals' as the saying goes. Just my opinion, of course. You might like it if you try it, so my thumbs-down is more of a 'meh' than a downvote. Take that as you will.

Great graphics and immersive experience

it is a good gaming experience.. It has Valve references and there is Sosigs 10/10 (Things here and there that i didn't like but peak VR gaming..)

This is one of those games I would recommend going in blind. As the story takes place in a "Black-Mesa like" secret lab with multi dimensional beings, you truly cannot predict what is around the corner. And the comedy is great. Just trust me when I say this is one of the best games I've ever played
