Vertigo Remastered is a physics-driven VR shooter where you play as an alien trapped in a massive underground research facility, fighting your way through interdimensional threats and corporate defenses to find your way home. The remaster modernizes the original with overhauled weapon mechanics, new enemies, flexible movement options, and an asymmetric co-op mode that lets you tackle the sprawling Quantum Reactor your way.

It's a classic premise - a massive subterranean scientific facility full of mysteries, with aliens bursting in from alternate universes to wreak havoc. The twist? You're one of those aliens. A difficult endeavor, as it turns out this facility is more than prepared to deal with extraterrestrial threats.
Explore the sprawling underground facilities of Planck Interdimensional's Quantum Reactor, filled with dark secrets, adorable drones, and parallel universes. You find yourself in the bowels of this machine after being whisked away from your home, and, armed with only the tools you can find, you must make your way to the surface, and the truth.

pretty good but i like veritgo 2 better
From the day I've purchased this game, I still have not been able to play or experience this game due to a graphic bug after the first opening cutscene that turns your vision black and are unable to move or interact with anything and requires a hard reboot to get back to the main menu. Pls fix this game, its been 6 years. Edit: I've looked online for answers (which i feel i shouldn't have to do to fix your game) and nobody has anything on the subject other than disabling a couple steamvr features. I'd refund but I was hoping that this game would fix itself at some point and I'd be able to play it and I believe I've past the window of sale.
Struggled beating the game, only to then be rewarded with a rare achievement for beating it without getting a single upgrade...
Good game, way to short though for the price mabye wait till i sale but good story good gam,eplay and love the upgrade system! ran great aswell
It's not the newest game, which shows in graphics and mechanics, BUT it is a very solid, very fun VR experience that can be enjoyed by VR Beginners and Veterans alike. The game has some Half Life Flair mixed with a hint of Portal and some rather unique weirdness. Overall the progression and buildup in the game is very well done, and the finale was truly fun. Really has that movie-ending flair of all out action, like a good drop in a song. There is one thing I really, really, really dislike about the game though, and I do not understand why it is even in the game the way it is: The first boss. That fight is such a contrast to the rest of the game that one could assume it was done by a different developer. See, the first boss fight is a clunky, glitchy, extremely difficult bullet-sponge fight. You have barely entered the game, and have to fight this thing that has AT LEAST 5x the health-pool of any other boss you will encounter in the game. And you have no gun at that point, only a shock stick to reflect the bosses shots back, and fend off an increasing number of tentacles at the same time. Problem is, your hits on the tentacles don't always register, and then you get hit. In a f…
