About Empires and Tribes
Empires and Tribes is a unique hybrid of a medieval city builder and a role-playing game.
You will undertake the duties of a mayor in the 13th century and manage the expansion of your city, ensure the production of resources, develop innovative technologies, negotiate new laws with the city council and raise a powerful army to protect yourself from rival principalities.
In Empires and Tribes you will find the classic game principles of a real-time strategy game combined with the possibilities of a role-playing game in first person perspective. In addition to city planning and economic decisions, you can expect political power struggles in the city council, an indecisive priest, a strike-hungry population, bandits, begging monks, thieves and four hostile principalities in the immediate vicinity.
Demonstrate leadership, economic and diplomatic talent to maintain your place in the challenging world of Empires and Tribes. Plan and expand your settlement wisely and with skill, and you will lead it from a small fishing village to a thriving hub of trade. Tap natural resources, create residential areas and build public buildings such as chapels and taverns to meet the growing needs of your inhabitants. Protect your settlement by building castles at strategically important points and expanding them with towers, gates, courtyards and various expansions. Recruit units and construct siege weapons to finally bring your opponents to their knees in tactically demanding sieges.

boring, rough and looks like bought assets copied from another project, i played it literally once and i couldnt continue, now they announce there new game LOL. with 338 MIxed reviews on this, someone has there priorities mixed up. pretending its good or doesnt need fixing does nothing for noone just flood the store with mediocre unfinished demos.4 found this helpful
This had the potential to be one of hte greatest city builders ever. Sadly, the devs have all but stopped working on it. I wish there was mod support so folks could help it achieve its full potential. Future devs, if you want to make an incredible city builder, this is hte game you want to look at.2 found this helpful

Terrible: Graphics are bad, game play is clunky and not intuitive...1 found this helpful
As clunky as it is its not really that bad yes you have some bugs but nothing serious ive had no crashes but do get a warning thing (i think that is a bug) but i dismiss it. The campagne mode is fun im in a town where i m on the verge of completing ( -6 in the red , just gotta upgrade one house lol) you get to go to different areas on the map each a little town and complete their quest. And you can be on the council to help decide if witchery is a crime or not lol work your way up from lord to princess/prince so yeah i quite like it should of gotten more attention really. if you like management type games this is fun.
This game is just too buggy and not a joy to play. I thought maybe the negative reviews were unfounded, but soon realised it was not. The first person view does not, for me, add value to the gameplay. Buildings that are placed indicate that there is no road connection, although there are roads connected. In first person view the A.I. seems to just wander around aimlessly. I'll just keep this short and say this game feels unfinished. It seems as if it was rushed and development was abruptly stopped for some reason ... and maybe released to get some income from the game. It's a big NO from me.
