Very good VN. Same vibes as Chaos Head, but the protagonist is much more stomachable. I actually enjoyed the story in this one much more.

I really enjoyed the story. It was slow learning about each individual character and I never knew who to trust fully until the end. Any time I stopped playing, be it literally anything else, I wanted to continue as fast as I could. Every new mystery peaked my interest more, I just wanted to stare at my screen 24 hours a day 7 days a week and play. Also, the ending seriously made me cry more than I want to admit XD

I've played a few SciAdvs hoping to find another VN that compares to my precious Steins;Gate, and despite the hype, this was not it. But for the first time I don't feel like my time was completely wasted. There are so many moments that I absolutely love that are offset some piss poor writing. I've spent more time with this story being bored rather than immersed (due in part to the very stupid way routes are chosen that requires you to skip through the entire game multiple times). I can only recommend this to really hardcore VN fans, who are probably used to reading large swathes of redundant text and awkward prose. If your looking to get started, please just play Steins;Gate. The only part I can say is a masterpiece is Kurusu's route, which succeeded in setting up a tragic story, then grabbing your head and burying your face in it. Its the peak of the entire chaos series, but its over in two hours. There are of course great moments in the common route as well. There's too much good stuff here to leave a thumbs down, but be wary that you're in for a slog to get to it.
