STEINS;GATE ELITE

I understand why STEINS;GATE ELITE receives criticism. If you've never experienced STEINS;GATE before, I'd honestly recommend reading the original visual novel instead as it offers more content, more freedom with the Phone Trigger system and a generally richer experience overall. If this is your first journey across world lines, start there. Is ELITE the definitive version? No. Is it the version I'd recommend to newcomers? Also no. But as a refresher for someone who has already traveled through the world lines of STEINS;GATE, STEINS;GATE 0 and My Darling's Embrace? I found it surprisingly enjoyable. I still found myself smiling at the jokes, enjoying the conversations and remembering why I fell in love with STEINS;GATE in the first place. Returning to the original story felt less like starting a new journey and more like revisiting an old friend. May Steins Gate be with you. El Psy Kongroo.

The animation is more than mere window dressing for the original game. It gives the experience a visual language of its own. The game traces the same world lines as the original, but takes a livelier, somewhat shorter route.

Actually I had never been a fan of anime. But after watching and playing Stein Gate I became a huge anime fan. This title really touched my heart.
