About Bubumbu

Game Concept

In Bubumbu, you will help walking puzzle pieces explore various worlds in search of the place they belong. The object portrayed on the puzzle pieces gives a hint to where they may fit. The interaction and logic reminds a lot of point-and-click adventures, and the challenge similar that of a hidden objects game. The total playtime is about 30 minutes.

Secrets All Around

In addition to the main puzzle mechanics, the game worlds also contain hidden things around the environment. By pressing certain details you spot in your surroundings you may discover these secrets - and then they will show up in your "Island of Secrets".

Players praise this charming puzzle game for its adorable art style, catchy music, and peaceful atmosphere that creates genuine emotional warmth. The main criticisms center on its brevity and some minor gameplay issues like slow piece movement and occasional music loops, though most agree the high-quality content that's present makes it worth experiencing despite its short length.

Super cute little game! I was able to 100% it in under an hour, but I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent playing. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something short. The music was probably my favourite part, it's cute and light without being overly cutesy or annoying.

Very short but well drawn and fun hidden-object game. The puzzles have imagination. The environment's reaction to the player is cute. The sound effects are happy and the music is pleasant. Possibly a young/beginner audience would find this perfect.

It's short, and it's cute. The controls are bad. You can't scroll around the level map, and you can't zoom in/out. The only way to explore is to "walk" the item. Imo, it would have worked way better with a normal point-click gameplay, similar to Hidden Folks (which this game is clearly inspired by). I can recommend it for its ridiculously low price, and for the effort, but if you're looking for a proper HOG experience, then that's not it. If you like it, try Hidden Folks, which has more content, and smoother gameplay.
