The game is a great experience. Some boring tasks here and there but the atmosphere, story and combat are great.2 found this helpful

Cover Your Eyes is a strange but very good RPG Maker horror game, so what is the story. A retired police officer Chloe is not having a very good day, not only she has to work a dead end 9 to 5 job after retiring from the police force because of the Emoji killer incident and raising two kids, but she finds out her husband is having an affair. So deciding to follow her husband and confront him she soon discovers her beloved town of Verwood is under attack by horrible monsters, now Chloe must find her husband and get him and their two children out of town, but with her fragile mental state, the ghosts of her past and the horrible monsters, the mother of two is in for a hell of a fight. Alright then let’s get into the likes, the story is really good with plenty of great twists, turns and some heartfelt moments, it also has plenty of fourth wall breaks, it can be a bit confusing at first but once you get to the end it starts to make sense. The graphics are very good for an RPGmaker with a good use of colors, designs and background that makes you want to just look at it a bit. The levels are good with a nice use of scenery and little odds and ends that also ties into the story and makes…1 found this helpful
I found this game through listening to its OST. Every section of the game brims with anxiety inducing music that aggressively raps your ears. While simple, it is the games strongest suit. Most of the monsters are depictated rather goofy than scary or disturbing (well, they are disturbing but not to the point of feeling tangible disgust and covering your eyes). What hit me most were zombified children with knifes and what seems like pregnant monsters. Tooth monsters made me giggle, unless they would have had an accompanying soundtrack of dentists tools. Overall, if you like Dingaling, who helped composing the OST and put a part of his unique style into it, and Silent Hill, which was the inspiring source, then you'd like it! The story isn't that complicated, but it does throw in heavy and emotional topics. but what was that ending though1 found this helpful
