About Close Your Eyes
- Close Your Eyes: A remake of the 2015 game of the same name]. Join an adorable murderer bound by their past, brought into question by a strange game show host. Completely remade from the ground up, it includes new locations, brand new threats, an extended story, 10 endings, and a dive into an atmospheric abyss that may linger with you long after you've completed it.
- Girl's Graveyard: The predecessor to Close Your Eyes, also remade from the ground up. The maddening arcade-styled game about a witch collecting candy for her beloved, including new scenes and greater darker depths than the original. There may be more than sweet things to find behind the façade
- Close Your Eyes: A Ghastly Tale: You play as a red-headed girl in a yellow dress, on a suicide mission to get revenge for a lost loved one. However, a large doll named Baby claiming her to be its mother comes to warn her of a creepy skeletal rabbit named, "Jeremy", who's hunting her down.
- Girl's Graveyard Mystery: Kiki is a witch in a coven deep within the woods. One day while picking berries, she stumbles on a naked boy who's lost his memories. She takes him to her village, where things begin to unravel and get stranger by the day. Now she's got to solve the mystery to save her sisters.
- Close Your Eyes: The Twisted Puzzle: A port of the 2017 free DLC for the original freeware game, included for completion sake, but with a little new spiced in to make it interesting. A series of cryptic puzzles that may be fun for a group to come together and solve together.
- Close Your Eyes: Beneath the Surface: Taking place after the events of Close Your Eyes, the Little Marshmallow is tasked with surviving in a small settlement for a strange reality game show they're involuntarily part of, possibly with shady intent. To survive the murky horrors, they may need to dig deeper.
- Unlock the Secrets of the Annex: As you make progress in all of the game modes, you will begin to unlock more content in a new hub world known as, "The Annex." It's laden with many secrets and hidden depths to discover, and its own dark tale to tell.
You start off with the remakes of Close Your Eyes and Girl's Graveyard, then unlock more and more to sink your teeth into as you earn achievements within the various games. There may be something more even for those who manage to get every single achievement... I'm very proud of this package of games, and I hope you all enjoy it yourselves.
You're a murderer, we all know it, but do you think you are?

This game is actually a collection rather than just a remake of the original Close Your Eyes, which itself remains unfinished after nearly 7 years in early access. Players appreciate the creative horror elements, interesting characters, and new additions like voice acting and expanded areas, but are frustrated by the extremely slow development pace, long content droughts, and concern that the game may never be completed. The original Close Your Eyes is frequently recommended as a superior alternative for those interested in the core experience.
The game is advertised as a remake of "Close Your Eyes" but it is in reality a collection of multiple games. The Close Your Eyes game itself within this collection is still unfinished after almost 7 years of early access and cannot be completed. I personally do not think I will continue to follow the development of this game, as it's going in a direction that I just can not force myself to enjoy. I adored the original Close Your Eyes, and think it's issues, such as the rare annoying enemy encounter or tedious puzzle, were easy to overlook because, horror wise, it was really effective with such an interesting story and cast of characters. It also, most notably, did not overstay it's welcome, so even drawn out sections could be forgiven for their purpose to the overall story. I still adore it's characters to this day and, at first, loved the idea of learning more about them through seeing them in future projects. I wouldn't mind the development of this game being slow, or changes being minimal, if I felt that was what I was getting. With a remake, there are so many chances to include added dialogue, scenes, and additional horror that help flesh out the characters. However, in actuality and in my opinion, this isn't what is being done here. The focus, instead, has been put on padding, with random puzzles that only slow players down, to new monster encounters with characters that are neither part of the original cast o…3 found this helpful
Can't say much about it right now as it's still in progress, but it looks promising so far! For now, I'll be listing all the additions/changes I've taken note of: Close Your Eyes: Lots of new areas, items, and cutscenes. Some new enemies, too. Several pre-existing areas have been revamped. Some puzzle solutions (such as the train security code) have been changed. You now have choices of "paths" to go down as you progress. The Girl's dialogue is now voiced. Pre-existing voices have been re-dubbed (which you can choose between the old dub at the start of a new save). Text is now color-coded between characters (green for The Host, yellow for Ghastly, purple for The Girl, etc.). Instead of game overs, you now go through "death minigames" which feature a new "candle system" that decreases by one every time you lose (something bad will supposedly happen in the future if all of them go out). 4 new endings will be added; totaling 12 (your route choices and number of remaining candles will likely influence this). Current build ends after the forest area. Girl's Graveyard: Rounds have been shortened back down to one level at a time (still drives me up the wall though >…2 found this helpful
Close your eyes is a genuinely a immesnsely intresting rpgmaker horror game. A game I have loved over the years now for the unnerving nature and twtisted story it unravels, and now with this recent major update I'm excited to delve into that world once more. If you have some spare money and want a good time, I suggest you buy some Yai games and play with some friends in a discord call. You won't regret it. Keep making your silly little games, love Boohoo2 found this helpful
Almost 3 years on Steam, has gotten no update ever. Yai Delayworks full force. EDIT It got actually updated to my surprise, Im not sure if my review was a working hand in this or just a timely coincidence. The content didnt seem disappointing, altho quite lackluster for a 3 year hiatus. Anyway, Im a man of my word, so up that thumb goes.2 found this helpful
10/10 would let it trigger my ptsd again (seriously tho, love the game)1 found this helpful
