About Private Property

Private Property

The brand new VR zombie shooter set at the end of the XIX century Montana provides endless hours of great fun!
Defend the property from zombies that want to destroy everything around them without mercy.

But how do I fight zombies?

To fight the zombie hordes, you have several different firearms to choose from. With these, you can blast the zombies into tiny pieces. A grenade launcher will be very convenient ;). In addition to the standard set of weapons, you can also use the Gatling gun which you can find on the map.

Sounds scary?

It would seem that a VR game about zombies must be scary and terrifying.
Nothing like this! The atmosphere is rather light, and the zombies are not an immediate threat to you. Unless they throw dynamite at you.

Then how can it be challenging?

These are not zombies that can barely walk. You should prepare yourself for the growing hordes of zombies running uncontrollably towards the buildings you have to defend. As if that wasn't enough, zombies can throw various objects at you. Oh, and do not forget about the larger monsters, which aren't that easy to defeat.

Online multiplayer

You don't have to fight alone. You can coordinate your fight against zombies along with other players from all over the world.

Fun for a bit, but there's no progression, and it quickly gets boring fighting the same enemies in very slightly larger groups for level after level. The only upgrades are clothing, which of course you can't really see on yourself anyway, and take an absurd amount of time to unlock. The only "boss" creature seems to be the one giant. There's nothing comparable to the dragon or dragonlings in Elven Assassin. It would have been nice if they'd at least had an escort mission similar to those that were added later to Elven Assassin. All of the weapons are unlocked from the beginning, but the only reason to use anything besides the lever-action rifle is for novelty. The pistols are so inaccurate, they are only useful at point-blank range. The shotgun is only useful for the giants, which are rare. Somehow the bow is the worst implemented weapon in the game, even though they already made a whole game with a perfectly implemented bow. Movement is a downgrade from EA as well. In EA, you shoot an arrow at the teleport point you want to move to. In PP, you point to move there. That should make it easier, the problem is your "pointing hand" is usually going to be on the fore grip of your gun…

I like it and i guess many people have also waited for a Elven Assassins but with guns! The weapon handling of the 19th century (?) inspired guns is fun. The idea of wild west, old weapons and zombies works really well. In my opinion it is ok for the price. Just remember it is early access. Hopefully there will be more maps and maybe even more weapons someday. Playing on HP Reverb G2, and yes, it works well enough, but could be better. Changing guns in the heat of the battle is not ideal, better have one of the big buttons to swap through than just being able to do it with the right thumbstick. Switching platforms / teleporting to another platform should be improved. Holding down and letting go of the left thumbstick while precicely pointing on the platforms yellow markers... that does not work well. Shooting the platform with an arrow in Elven Assassins was easy and precise in comparison. Other than that, great and fun new variant of Elven Assassins. Bit low on other players still. And pleeeeeeeeeeease, add a "forbid rapid-shooting" button when hosting multiplayer. Cause there still is an bow and arrow, and there still is rapid-shooting folks...

It's a fun game. The only thing i think is a bit annoying is if you get stunned you are stunned way too long. Played with: Pico 4 and it was a very funny experience. The controls worked great.

Great fun, basically elven assassin with old timey western guns (same makers), once they add ways to upgrade equipment it will be even better, super fun in co-op.
