About Survival Nation

Survival Nation is an open-world online RPG VR game. The player takes on the role of one of the survivors of the zombie apocalypse. The main goal is to survive, but in order to do so, he has to cooperate with other members of the survival camp.
In this game, you will:
- kill hundreds of zombies,
- acquire weapons,
- learn new skills,
- craft,
- explore the world,
- complete quests,
- and most importantly, fight for survival.
To survive, you need to remember about food and water. You can get food in many ways: by fishing, hunting, gathering, or scouring abandoned houses. In a world where danger awaits you at every turn, taking care of sufficient needs is not the easiest thing to do.
They say that cooperation is the key. It is no different here. Survival Nation is a game that focuses on multiplayer mode. You can join other players and participate in a joint adventure and exploration of the world. Talk to other people, exchange items and supplies, and cooperate during combat. If you don't want to cooperate join the PVP game mode that offers an immersive experience, combining survival elements with total freedom of choice. It’s up to you whether you decide to cooperate with other players or hunt them down to get their loot. Don't worry. If you still don't want to play with other players, you can enjoy Solo mode and have fun playing alone.
Survival Nation is not lacking in RPG elements either. A whole bunch of missions and side activities are waiting for you. All this to take care of the progression of your character. You have at your disposal 3 unique skill trees, which you develop with each level you gain. It's up to you whether you want to focus on survival skills, combat, physical endurance, or a mix of all of them. In addition to the skill trees, there are quite a few weapons waiting for you to acquire, which you can upgrade.
You'd probably like to know what more you can do in this game. In addition to quests and many forms of food gathering mentioned earlier, there are many other activities. You can search for items with a metal detector, climb on top of various spots, search for treasure using riddles, and much more.
Survival Nation offers a mass of diverse weaponry at your disposal. Each weapon has not only different statistics but also a feeling, and a way of reloading. You can choose from a variety of weapons from categories such as pistol, shotgun, rifle, melee, and explosives. In addition, for real hunters, there is also a bow.

I have been playing this game since it was released on the Meta Store. I finally got a PC and installed it on my PC as well. There's a few things I enjoy about the game, it's open world, there's a lot to do compared to back when it first came out and level 55 was max, and I have a few friends that play it with me. However it has bugs on both systems. One bug is not being able to grab the bow string very well although my hand is right on it. This is both on PC and Meta Quest 3. The next bug is not being able to select weapons or items from the radial wheels, you go to select them and it just does not do it. This happens on both PC and Meta Quest 3. Another bug is NPC menus being stuck with your character, but the added bonus is that they are invisible. I will be away from Riley for example, and be trying to fight zombies and my weapons vanish until I tap a button, then Riley's voice is heard "See you later!" but she's miles away and then my weapons can be used again. The next thing is relogging solves these bugs temporarily but that can raise a bug within it self.. the game will not want to start and will leave me in a black screen. I literally have to close out of the gam…2 found this helpful
Survival Nation is a VR survival RPG that aims to blend the familiar rhythms of zombie survival with the physical immersion of virtual reality, and while it doesn’t always reach the level of refinement seen in top-tier titles, it manages to deliver a consistently engaging experience through its mix of systems and cooperative focus. Developed and published by Wenkly Studio, the game places you in a post-apocalyptic landscape where survival is not just about fighting the undead, but about sustaining yourself, developing skills, and gradually integrating into a fragile human community. It’s a design that leans more toward long-term progression and routine than constant high-intensity action, which gives it a distinct pacing compared to more arcade-like VR shooters. The gameplay loop is structured around a central camp that acts as both a safe haven and a hub for progression. From there, players venture into surrounding areas to scavenge for resources, complete missions, and confront threats before returning to regroup and improve their capabilities. What elevates this loop is the way it is translated into VR. Basic actions like reloading weapons, managing inventory, or interacting wi…
Its fun and cute game.
So I voted no because of the price. I think this could be a $10 game, but not more. I think it has good quests, great future capabilities, but the crazy amount of eating/drinking you do. Plus how everything is spread out just feels gimmicky to get spend more time. Seems to have good content, graphics aren't quite there for 2023 games. I think it needs more time in the oven and this could be really fun.
.
heres hoping for survival nation 2
