"Zombie Hobby VR" is a very lazy VR tech demo where you just wave your arms around to fling a bunch of stuff at some (probably asset flipped) low poly minimalist "zombies", but in VR. That's it. That's all there is to this. This is why Valve needs to think about some quality control. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging an eye watering TWENTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. Геймплей сочетает строительство укрытий, поиск ресурсов и бой с зомби, что добавляет глубины. VR-элементы погружают в атмосферу, но управление может быть не совсем интуитивным. I played 30 minutes of this game and had fun the whole time. I might return to it but more likely I'll let a friend try it and see how they'll do. I quite liked the simple aesthetics and gameplay. This game doesn't do much, but what it does it does surprisingly well. Everything is solid. I think this is kinda a hidden gem in the free short VR games category. I absolutely recommend trying it out. Maybe you'll only play it for 20 minutes or so, but I'm almost certain you'll have fun while doing it.
