Awakening: The Dreamless Castle

I really wish Steam would allow us to try before we buy on all games. This particular one drove me nuts. It won't allow you to get what you need until you follow the path it's set out. Example: the rigmarole of trying to get water for the wash tub. Then the bloody bowl and now the soap. You have to keep using hints and following the path until the info box comes up in the bottom right corner. Even then a lot of things don't make any sense. Wish I had taken a pass.

oldschool but still great

Delightful calm and cozy atmosphere. As you wander through the castle, you repair, clean and support, making things better just as the princess you are expected to be.

Though you can see the ageing of this game, I think it's really cute for what it is! It's a little short, but that's to be expected for a first installment.

At times this game will black out alternately with flashes of intro, making it difficult to turn off and reload!

Goblinjong is much better than Tripeaks.
