First, let me tell you how I learned about Ball-it Hell: I was about to buy another game, when in the Cart section of Steam a certain game called Ball-it Hell picked my interest, mostly for the very cheap price, and I decided to buy it. Let's see what the game is about: You control this ball with your mouse cursor, and you have to defeat some other balls spinning around in a circle while avoiding and countering all their attacks. The goal is to get the highest score possible (like your typical arcade game). It may look hard at first, but it's actually very easy and quick to learn how to play. Runs are very short (they last 1-5 minutes), there are a lot of different balls to choose from with their unique attack and skill, and the achievements have been perfectly balanced, difficulty-wise. Short, fun, and satisfying! I like the uniqueness of deflection as the main action, and I appreciate that the powerups are distinct instead of the common 'temporary stat buff'. The sound design is crisp and fitting, with my personal favorites being the Katana and 8-Ball sound effects, and the achievements incentivize giving every class a fair chance without the skill ceiling being too high. I liked mastering a class to unlock their bonus, and I enjoyed the resulting power trips to reach 10k when I previously struggled. If you like bullet hells, give Ball-it Hell a try!
