A guard walks into a tavern puts you in the boots of a royal guard managing bounties, hiring heroes, and navigating faction politics while an imp partner keeps you honest in a richly branching narrative with multiple storylines and nearly a hundred sidequests. Build relationships, raise a family, explore hidden locations, and fish on the clock across multiple playthroughs that unlock new content and special endings with each completion.
In addition to your hard work and side jobs to make ends meet, you have to maintain the reputation of factions to ensure your survival without being fired or assassinated.
Introduction
◆This is a narrative driven simulation game with management elements, where the storyline for each playthrough will be randomly generated from three main stories (each with 4 endings) and nearly a hundred sidestories.

I can't rate this up or down because it's right in the middle for me. This game is worth it's price, but it's only barely worth its time. A nice Papers Please like game. The writing is pretty good. But the gameplay was stretched and too slow. There were a lot of side gigs with which to make money, but they weren't really fleshed out in a way that made them fun. It was all a bunch of market simulators. Overall, nice, but I kind of regret actually spending the time to finish one playthrough.15 found this helpful
