In My Shadow

6/10 Played with controller In My shadow is not a bad game. I tells a rather simple but familiar story a lot us go through growing up. The game play is also rather simple but needs a little more polish to make the game better in my opinion. Still, I found the game had the key concepts down already and wished to have a little more challenge. Definitely a decent game to introduce some one to the hobby. Worth at least a play through.

Link to review: https://backloggd.com/u/RedBackLoggd/review/760117/ Tl;dr - In My Shadow is unfortunately a bit short- it took me just under 3 hours to complete, and while that number could vary depending on how good/bad you are at platformers, I expect it to be the average, which runs just under my $1.00 : 30 minute ratio (the game being $10.00). Had Playbae retained their original script, I’d have no problem recommending the game at full price. However, in light of the narratorial amendments, I advise you to make your own purchase because this has gone from being a sharply designed platformer with an uncommonly affecting story to simply a sharply-designed platformer, which may be enough for some.

What a unique puzzle game!

I love puzzle games. This one makes you think so much about perspective, size, distance, etc. There is so much thought that went into every single puzzle and it is so so good. Highly recommend. I love this so much.

I like the concept, but the controls aren't great and it seems like the gameplay mostly consists of finicky jumps. Also be warned, the story involves a dog dying.
