The Alliance Alive HD Remastered

It's a really great RPG, with strong moments. My favorite part is that it really gives the feeling that you're becoming stronger not only by the main characters but by creating a community to help each other.

MY EYES! Also...boring

I want to like this game, but it's just so boring. Maybe the difficulty picks up later but I just mindlessly mash A on anything that's not a boss or special encounter and since you more or less full heal after each fight that works well enough. The story and characters kinda pique my interest, but because the gameplay is so boring I can't work up the interest to continue.

This game is not bad and worth to play.

This is a mediocre game at best. -How (and how much) stats affect you is poorly explained - It's hard to get how in game mechanics work - Enemy AOE oneshots after half an hour in a dungeon you cannot save in is absurd. If you survive, same attack next turn. - You have no real clear way to get stronger if you get stuck or feel weak. - Building towers and spreading recruits evenly seems to backfire hard late game. - Excessively expensive talent point perks. - Grindy combat that you can "auto" but sice the healer is braindead and can only target self, you mash through commands just to change healing target. I like grinding in turn based rpgs, I find it fun. This is one of the few games where combat gievs you so little it generally isn't worth the time. 26 hours in and I just have the final push left. Don't think I'll bother with that tbh.
