About Rally: Endless Conquest

Rogue-like deck building
Create a deck from a collection of 190+ cards in order to gain power and overcome enemy armies. When you are defeated, your deck and progress is reset, but you can achieve permanent progression through card unlocks and new player generals.

Defeat enemy armies
Choose 1 of 6 playable characters, and strategically control a battlefield of 16 cards where the placement of each card affects its synergies with the surrounding cards. Go up against an enemy army with health and attack values, and you have your own health, defense, attack, and wealth values which impact your battles with the enemy army.

Other features
Collect 50+ treasure items whenever an army is deafted; these treasures further solidify the card synergies which exist in your deck or allow you to pivot to new strategies. Create unique synergies while avoiding enemy sabotage cards. Encounter random events that impact your deck, and venture into endless mode to see how far your skill can take you.

For the price, it's quite good card game, with a twist. The base idea consists of having a 4x4 grid where cards from your deck can appear in a random order. You'll want to use various abilities, depending on main faction, to swap the locations of these cards around to cause synergies to occur. Often, you'll want four cards of the same faction to be lined up. This charges ability points for the said faction. In-between rounds you get events/items/drafts to refine your build further. Drafts specifically you get VERY often (out of a choice of three). There are four factions and seperately neutrals, which have various possible combinations with each other. Some of the cards are hidden in the collection and only show up as draftable upon meeting certain untold conditions. These aren't necessary to win and I personally felt like it was rather difficult to find them. Though I believe a good chunk of my playtime is from before they were added, which might affect things. + Short runs and can save mid-run + Endless mode + Several different strategies for each faction + Unique art style * Game overall even on Hard isn't that difficult, unless deviating from stable strategies to seek t…

Hidden gem, easy to overlook but really fun once you get wrap your head around the basic mechanics and get acclimated to the (admittedly not great, if perfectly functionable) UI. Played on a 4x4 grid 'battlefield' of cards, each deck has a different mechanic for affecting the placement of the cards each turn; that, mixed with a bunch of interesting synergies between the cards, makes for an engaging (and challenging!) experience. I fully went into this game expecting to bounce off it quickly, and instead it's a game I pick up fairly regularly to casually tackle a run. Definitely give this one a shot, especially if you like intriguing deckbuilders.

This is a fun game for those who like indie card roguelikes. It's not a STS-like though. I recommend it.

This game is actually super nice. Feels chill, nice amount of thinking, but not so in depth that it breaks my feeble mind. Lots of dopamine when you get those synergies rolling. If you are interested enough to read reviews I strongly recommend this. PS:Game seems to be improved from the demo version, so if demo almost convinces you, pull the trigger. Money well invested in enjoyment.
