Completed as of writing this review: 100% You know, after playing the developers' previous game, which was Polyroll, Panic Porcupine feels like the game made out of spite. While Polyroll was a very easy chill 2D Platformer - this game is a complete 180 on the difficulty and overall direction of the gameplay. Now you're blasting at high speeds trying to dodge obstacles with a pretty strict precision. If I say bluntly, this is basically "Sonic meets Super Meat Boy". This is all it is. But even then it's surprisingly very stable! Each stage feels crafted with thorough inspection of how to use the physics in a right way. It can take a long time to get right and developers managed to do it! Rarely will there be an instance where you blame the game rather than yourself (in a sense if you're already skilled). It might get annoying with time if going for everything in one go but in short bursts for like an hour it's a fine game! But nothing is perfect and honestly I felt really annoyed by some stages. Either because they were too strict or because of the gimmicks. A lot of the gimmicks can feel weird, but my biggest enemy was a ball of some sort. Either a ball that I ri…

I am struggling badly with this game, it is pretty hard. I love how small the levels are, it makes it feel more tolerable.
Panic Porcupine is a fun time!
Its like a strange mashup between Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Meatboy. It doesn't have an amazing story or world building, but its tight, momentum based kaizo gameplay is what kept bringing me back. I loved challenging my previous times and attempting to get all the eggs. Panic Porcupine doesn't do anything ground breaking. It isn't presenting any crazy new mechanics or gameplay ideas. The fact that it doesn't fall flat with all these ideas is the crazy part to me. Panic Porcupine is a solid 7/10. Nothing overstayed Its welcome, The difficulty was pretty consistent all through out (Besides a little spike in the middle), But it doesn't do anything that will make me say its a must play. Thanks, Jefferey

Panic Porcupine is a fast-paced precision platformer that combines momentum-heavy movement with levels deliberately constructed to make reckless speed dangerous. Developed by Spicy Gyro Games and published by Shiny Dolphin Games LLC, the game follows Panic on a mission to rescue the captured Chickabirbs from the villainous Dr. Proventriculus. The narrative is intentionally simple and playful, serving mainly as an excuse to send the protagonist through a long sequence of increasingly hazardous environments. Rather than relying on an elaborate story, the experience concentrates on mechanical execution, learning stages, collecting eggs, and improving performance through repeated attempts. Movement is the foundation of the game. Panic can build considerable speed while traveling across slopes, loops, and other terrain, giving the platforming an energetic sense of momentum. The important twist is that maintaining maximum speed is not always the correct strategy. Levels are filled with spikes, saws, slime, chainsaws, and other lethal obstacles capable of immediately ending an attempt. Players therefore have to balance their desire to move quickly with the need to understand what lies ah…

please for the love of god add a static camera setting world 1 btw: on stage 1 there's 2 mechanics where the camera should just lock onto the object so it's easier to time it but no, the camera does this yucky swivel thing which makes me incredibly motion sick, I literally can't play the game, I'll try play it for a bit but if I can't play it I will have to get a refund -update I quit at world 1 mainly because of the game just spamming timed objects with the horrible camera movement, I genuinely feel like vomiting
