About Porcunipine

Porcunipine is a couch multiplayer about balding porcupines fighting courageously for survival using their very last pointy quills.

The concept of the game is simple: You are a majestic and terribly violent porcunipine. You have one quill which you can shoot at your opponents. Once you shoot, you have to go and pick up that quill before you can shoot again. Your quill rebounds from walls and obstacles, and can kill you just as easily as it can kill your enemies.

FIGHT to the death with sharp needles of pain

COLLECT the skulls of your fallen enemies

JIGGLE your way around exciting arenas with unique special features

  • Full support for the Xbox 360 controller and other popular PC gamepads

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…

Porcunipine is a competitive local multiplayer arena game developed by Big Green Pillow and published by Curve Games that turns simple mechanics into an intense and surprisingly addictive party experience. At first glance, the game appears lighthearted and playful thanks to its colorful pixel-art visuals and adorable animal-inspired characters, but beneath its charming presentation lies a fast-paced battle system built entirely around precision, timing, and quick reactions. Designed primarily for couch multiplayer sessions, the game captures the spirit of classic arcade party games where every round is short, chaotic, and capable of ending in an instant. The central gameplay concept is remarkably easy to understand. Players control small porcupine-like creatures armed with deadly spikes and compete inside compact arenas where the objective is to eliminate opponents before being hit themselves. One successful strike is usually enough to win an encounter, which creates constant tension during every match. The simplicity of the controls allows almost anyone to start playing immediately, but the game quickly reveals a surprising amount of skill depth once players begin mastering movem…
