BLINNK and the Vacuum of Space

I'm autistic (M50), a software developer and VR veteran, so I kinda assumed that I wasn't really the target audience for this. I was wrong - I really enjoyed this experience, it was really chill and relaxed and I had a lot of fun. It is clear that the developers consulted autistic people and listened : the game is very accessible and a lot of thought has gone into it. For example, there is a radio nearby in most areas : you can switch the music on, off, adjust it in a really obvious way depending on your preferences, and there are plenty of accessible options through the menus. This follows through in the game design : chill and relaxed, you can't die, there are no game over screens or timers, and the tasks are clear and well explained by a friendly robot. I was impressed - it is really 'suitable for all ages' without feeling childish or talked down to, but has enough support for first-time VR users and I would easily recommend this as a really good introduction for younger audiences or VR first-timers. Gotta Catch Them All - Blinnk and the Vacuum of Space In this game, we are sent to a space station called Norpopolis where we meet a robot name Blinnk and become his assistant. We are to help him construct the worlds greatest sandwich for his boss Mr. Norp. Before we can do this, Blinnk accidentally releases a ton of little critters that are causing chaos throughout the space station. We must go undercover with Blinnk & go throughout the space station & catch all these critters before anyone finds out. This is a super fun interactive game for all ages. It reminds me of Job Simulator and Pokémon mixed into a super fun time. The world is amazing looking, setting a great fun vibe. There is lots to play with and look at. Keep an out for those escaped critters, they can be anywhere. The dialog of the characters is some of the finest and draws you deeper into the story and world. The characters are all unique and have a great personality to match their roles. This game is super easy to play, and has many option to make it a comfortable experience while playing it. If you are into sim games like Job Simulator, this is a must have title. I can not express the joy it brought me well…

So after playing the game, its definitely a game for new comers to VR. The Story is very simple to follow and the mini games to complete task is also simple. the speed of the game is at your own tempo since you have to press A/X every time they finish a sentence which is probably a way to keep the player from losing the attention of the game. there was no height control just in case you want to adjust and no way to auto play the story of the game knowing there will be players spamming the button to continue the story faster.In my honest opinion the game is worth trying for new comers to VR then veteran VR players.

Okay, so listen, the idea of a VR game geared towards autistic people is great, right? I mean, it was a great concept, but execution-wise, IDK, I felt kind of like I was being hand-held too much. And thats coming from an autistic person. granted, I don't have it that bad, and it might be better for people with more severe autism, but over all? I don't know, the execution could've been better.
