10/10 walking simulator Jokes aside the game has good potential. Its obviously still in its very early stages of development. I mean, the optimization is very bad, and they probably havent implemented the horror elemments yet, but its an unfinished product. When you purchase an early access game, ofc its not going to be finished. You are buying it with full awareness that it wont offer you the full experience that you would hope for. Thats why i'd like to give the devs some time and see the full game. I may be biased towards psychological horror games, but i actually have good expectations for this one. The audio gives you the occasional creeps, the hallways give you that uneasy feeling that you are not alone, every door that you open could potetially reveal something on the other side. Its by no means perfect and its definitely nowhere near finished, but it doesnt remove from the fact that the devs are doing their job as best they can.

Game plays awful, the controls are wonky and not stated outright. When I started the game I sat in a dark room for 10 minutes because I thought it was some kind of puzzle but it was actually because the game didn't tell me to hit enter to "wake up". After that I wandered around the dark house for another 5 minutes got stuck in a dark bathroom and restarted the game, only for it to now tell me to hit "J" to turn on my flashlight.

The Meaning, developed and published by Ember Eye Studio, is a first-person psychological horror experience that places emotional storytelling at the center of its design. Rather than relying on constant threats or traditional survival mechanics, it builds its identity around atmosphere, introspection, and the gradual unraveling of a troubled mind. It is a game that aims to unsettle not through relentless action, but through quiet tension and the slow reveal of a deeply personal narrative. The story follows Ethen Daniels, a man struggling to cope with the loss of his family, and much of the experience is shaped by his fragile mental state. Instead of presenting a clear, linear sequence of events, the narrative unfolds in fragments, blending memory, reality, and hallucination in ways that are not always immediately distinguishable. This ambiguity is intentional, encouraging players to interpret the story rather than passively receive it. As the game progresses, pieces of Ethen’s past begin to surface, forming a picture that is both tragic and psychologically complex. However, this approach can also make certain aspects of the story feel unclear, particularly for players who prefer …

Unifnished, abandoned game. Still at version .12 despite being out for three years. It's basically just a lot of wandering around aimlessly trying to figure out what the dev wants you to click on. Boring. And definitely a bunch of fake reviews.

I really enjoyed this game. Instead of relying on jump scares, it delivers psychological horror and mystery with a wonderfully creepy atmosphere. While it has some rough spots, that’s expected in early access, and it made me excited for the full release. If you're into unsettling, atmospheric horror, this is definitely worth checking out!
