Ghost Town

Loved it. Awesome VR game. Just what I like. Puzzles, atmosphere, good acting, great sound, not too much flashy lighting and a fun story. More please.

This game deserves my most emphatic praise. I played it on stream last night. I could have cried, it was that good. The detail put into the environment. The obvious care the team took to make everything run correctly. It's so appreciated when most VR experiences are sandbox or lag if you turn your head too fast. The story is compelling. The world is beautiful. I'm VERY eagerly awaiting the next VR project Fireproof Games releases.

Cool short game.

Short, but nice. Worth it when on a special promotion. The riddle difficulty is ok, could be higher. VR runs smoothly.

"Ghost Town" is best described as interactive theater. The puzzles and environments are very similar to "The Room VR: A Dark Matter" (ghosts and all), except with a deeper story and more character development. You'll do a lot of 'walking' between puzzle rooms--down long pathways, corridors, driveways, etc. Movement is accomplished by pointing to a location and teleporting. The game is easily played from a seated position. Be careful to point the boots icon's toes in the direction you want to face next before teleporting. The puzzle rooms offer hints if you get stuck. Generally, the puzzles aren't difficult to solve; and most rooms are completed within approximately 10 actions. Interaction with objects is mostly limited to only what is necessary to propel the adventure. There are a few scenes where you must analyze objects with scanner equipment by focusing electrical signals, and I found this to be more frustrating and tedious than enjoyable. Overall, the game is reminiscent of "Half Life: Alex" but without any combat. If you enjoy games with urban decay, messy apartments, underground tunnels, and ancient cathedrals, you'll want to play "Ghost Town."

Spooky with nice puzzles and soundtrack!
