Игра Last Resort – это настоящая жемчужина среди инди-проектов. С первых минут она затягивает своей атмосферой и глубоким сюжетом, который заставляет задуматься о многих вещах. Визуальная составляющая игры выполнена на высочайшем уровне, каждый пиксель будто дышит жизнью, создавая неповторимый мир. Управление отзывчивое, а игровой процесс разнообразен и не дает заскучать. Погружение в историю полное, ведь персонажи прописаны с такой любовью и вниманием к деталям, что начинаешь им искренне сопереживать. Музыкальное сопровождение идеально дополняет происходящее, усиливая эмоциональное воздействие. Last Resort – это не просто игра, это целое приключение, которое оставит след в душе. Настоятельно рекомендую всем ценителям качественных и продуманных проектов.

Last Resort is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from Breda University of Applied Sciences. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. This year the students were at least taught to make the kind of game most PC gamers like, a first person shooter. Hooray. And the graphics are pretty okay for a student project. Unfortunately the game lacks polish, has a bunch of unfixed bugs, it's short, the gameplay is badly balanced with some enemies being bullet sponges and others dying way too easily. It's just not …
