Preface A few updates ago this game was quite enjoyable. Spent quite a few hours offline playing this to 100% it. What is this game? Plays like an action RPG extraction shooter. It is not a milsim, even though it says it follows Tarkov. If anything, it plays like an arcade Zero Sievert. What went wrong? Reloading did. It's such a nuisance and it has no need to be. Mind you, this is not an Early Access title, we're already in post-release and the developer is still changing out major gameplay elements that tamper with the player experience mileage. First, this is not a milsim. Your character can wield 2 firearms and reloads those with ammunition from "Pockets" and/or from a chest rig. There is no belt. The character can also equip a "Backpack/Pouch", which is where one can drop-in any loot found. The first issue came with an update where magazines were patched in required for (re)loading your firearms. Reloading the normal way would dump the magazine in the first empty spot (pockets, rig, backpack), already a deviation from what you'd normally do IRL, as there is no dedicated space for empty mags.
