What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's story depth, challenging strategic combat, and reasonable value, with some finding it worthwhile despite its quirks. However, significant issues emerge including severe AMD graphics card compatibility problems that render the game unplayable for many users, poor solo experience due to unhelpful AI teammates, and general bugs and missing features that detract from the experience. The game appears to work better in its intended multiplayer format, though lack of ongoing developer support means many technical problems remain unresolved.
Unplayable to AMD users
Unfortunately, this game is unplayable to AMD users apparently, judging by the number of AMD users that have expressed issues with this title. Some have said that it's related to old graphics card drivers. It's not. I for one just updated my drivers (RX 570) and it still shows black textures. I can see parts of the HUD, the in-game cursors, particles, and waypoints, but nothing else. Unplayable. As I understand it (I could be wrong here), the devs no longer support the game, so it appears there's no solution. I would ask for a refund if I hadn't gotten it for free.1 found this helpful
Short but challenging. Good enough for the price. I saw a few reviews saying this doesn't work on AMD cards but I had no issues at all.1 found this helpful
I could go on about all the bugs, missing tooltips and other problems this game has, but I wont waste time and just say that this game was designed for multiplayer and cooperation and is a nightmare to play solo. You get 4 bot teammates (instead of the maximum of 8 players total) but the bots wont use items on their own and switching between your guys to give them command every 5 seconds gets old pretty quick. Ive heard that this game got its origins in Warcraft 3 custom maps and I would recommend installing Warcraft 3 and downloading some of those custom maps because it is a way more smooth experience.
Surprisingly Story rich, love every bit of it, worth every penny.
It offers challenging combat and strategic gameplay, but it can get repetitive at times
