About Merchants of Rosewall
Rosewall’s strength has always come from its people. Who better to run a city than the people who built and live in it? As a new face in town, you’ll have to find your own path while confronting the costs, hidden and real, of doing things the old way.
- Single-player, story-driven experience set in a fantasy world where weapons and war are a thing of the past.
- Your own shop with views of your storefront and workshops that can also be customized with décor sets.
- Manage your employees and keep up with a busy calendar of events.
- A colorful cast of NPCs keep you on your toes; each of you employees have a unique story to tell, as well as passive bonuses to help your shop grow.

At first glance, it promises the joy of running a complex business with crafting, trading, and character-driven interactions. However, what starts off as a charming concept soon buckles under frustrating mechanics, disjointed design choices, and a major game-breaking bug. I want to like this game, but every way I try to play it (steam deck with comparability mode or on desktop) has a lot of random crashes. Took me way too many attempts to even reach a point where saving was allowed. Maybe when it’s better optimized I’ll try it again. For now I recommend passing.7 found this helpful
Fun game... enjoying the story so far.
Fun cozy merchant game, devs put a long of love into it and it shows. You can also tell they wanted to do a LOT more with the game.
I'm enjoying the game so far. I think the story is cute and I love the management aspects. I have not been experiencing the memory leak that others have pointed out, and I frequently play while I have Opera GX running (which tends to require a lot of RAM). I hope they will be able to fix that so everyone can experience the game. If you like cute/cozy management games, you'll probably like this one. Definitely a good buy on sale, but I'm hoping they decide to pair with another indie game for a bundle!
i'll be honest game play wise this game wasn't for me. However if a shop sim management game is your jam I would definitely recommend it! The UI and art style are amazing; the characters are SO hot. The story was interesting and I was sad I couldn't do well enough at the game mechanic to progress it further and learn more. I love the universe they created and would def play a dating sim game in it if they ever made one! Wish it had difficulty modes for those of us that want an easier experience so we could enjoy the story. Hope you give this indie game a try!
