"Hello, the developer speaking. As many of you probably noticed there was no updates in a while... Let me explain: the problem was with my lack of knowledge and my inexperience in this world of game development. This was my very first Steam game and 1 year ago, my pc started crashing and I got several blue screens.. My project got corrupted badly, to the point its impossible to improve or finish. So I came to the decision to make the game completely free. The game is playable however not finished and there are bugs in it. This project has helped me a lot to improve my work and as a person, I have learned a lot and many thanks to the players who loved this project so much."
Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator is a medieval management, exploration and adventure game currently under development by Breakfast Studio.
Create, manage and expand your merchant empire, explore the borders of the world and properly manage your stores to become the most important trader in the kingdom.
Manage your stores, organize your workers, deliver orders, exchange and create unique items, unlock new skills and advantages, hire warriors for adventures, explore the world, resist global events like a plague or a war, plan your financial strategy supporting or confronting the crown and the church, alter the economy of the kingdom and its laws and face consequences of your decisions.
Depending on the king or queen that governs, there will be laws that will suit you more or less depending on your way of playing. The world of MSS reacts to every decision and even prices in stores, punishing mistakes with your reputation. Be careful and make wise decisions, visit the seer to reveal future events and prepare yourself to them.

Hard to figure out what to do, as others stated the tutorial was removed. You collect garbage from your yard and try to sell it to neighbor home's doors. You don't really understand anything's worth, until you view other stall's prices. Inside your home there is a plaque to set your sell price for items. You can't own a stall until you buy one for 800 gold. There is a stall that you can not own right outside your 'home' (Uncle's Home). That stall has instructions on the back side, which confuse you into thinking it is your stall, but it is not. If you buy goods at someone else's stall, you give them some of your money (coins) earned from door knocking. When you door knock and they are asking for an item, you can right click to drop the current item you have selected, to them. This trade is based on what they already established as what they want to trade for and with. It really seems like this game started with an idea in mind, then the game twisted into a new direction and you are left guessing wtf is going on.2 found this helpful
I know the game is free, but honestly it is just to broken to play. Unfortunate cus it looks like it couldbe fun
love this graphic style but need to improve much in gameplay, control...

Нужно не только следить за ценами и спросом, но и грамотно управлять своими финансами, чтобы расширять ассортимент, улучшать магазин и нанимать персонал. Интересно наблюдать, как растет твой небольшой лавочка, превращаясь в процветающий торговый центр. Разнообразие товаров и событий, происходящих в средневековом мире, добавляют реиграбельности. Радует возможность влиять на рыночную ситуацию, закупая дефицитные товары и продавая их с выгодой. Конечно, игра не без минусов. Графика довольно скромная, а отсутствие полноценной озвучки немного расстраивает. Но геймплей, ориентированный на менеджмент и экономические решения, с лихвой компенсирует эти недостатки. Если вам нравятся игры про создание бизнеса и экономические стратегии, то 'Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator' определенно стоит попробовать.
This game is a beautiful mix of early 3d and simple pixels, and they work surprisingly well together in practice! I'm sad to see the note about the game being discontinued due to the developer losing the files, but I would LOVE to see a spiritual successor produced with all your new skill and experience fed into it! Had tons of fun playing it. Fair warning to new players, there's almost no tutorial or tooltips, but it's really easy to figure out when you get rolling. The commands are easy to learn. Still a fantastic arrangement to do some medieval merchanting with your yardstuffs!
