About Merchant's Rise
From humble date farmer to royal merchant, rise through the districts and claim your fortune. Start at the outer districts, resupply your stock, and start the day to start haggling and selling goods. Review the summary, pay attention to hints the customers give about upcoming good prices, and start the day again. Watch the patience timer above customer heads, increase your reputation and coins with sales. Unlock more districts with higher priced goods, stall decorations, a gaming tent, and if you become royal merchant the sultan himself may invite you to play senet at the palace.

Continuing some of my indie reviews with this indie dev's first game release- Cons: - Art could use some polish/variety - Can get repetitive - Volume consistently was off at times- but there were individual sliders for music vs sfx Pros: - Found little easter eggs on the main menu- reminded me of older games from when i was younger (i found the genie, but no wish was granted hah) - Enjoyed the setting, the visuals and music fit (cat meows were a little loud when you click on them) - Fairly chill and relaxed mode takes away the little character timers if you want to just relax and play - It's cheap, especially on sale Overall enjoyable indie game, nothing spectacular but fun at price point.
