Hermit and Pig

Honestly SUCH a delightful game. The art = cute, the writing = hilarious, the characters = so wonderfully weird. Highly HIGHLY recommend. I first played the demo, then got offered an extended demo, and now bought the game myself. worth every penny

I loved this little game! Fun rhythm/button combo twist on turn-based combat, especially loved how social interactions were quick-time events. very charming very good

Played the demo for this game months ago and was instantly charmed by it, I'm very happy to have played the full game it was so fun and beautiful. The art is just the most delighful and the tunes are chill; the combat is engaging, the story is funny and hopeful. I get to pet my pig, what else could you want? However I did come across (only!) two problems: 1) Sometimes during the box moving sections I'd get stuck in between a wall the object I'm moving, the game usually sorted itself out if I wiggled around constantly, but I did have to reset the game one or two times because of it. 2) Maybe less a problem and more of spawn/skill issue but I spent the whole game trying to pick every mushroom I saw, but I finished it while missing One type of mushroom (which I picked up during the mine running away section, but then I died so I didn't even get a chance to see what it is). I don't know if it was a rare type of mushroom with a specific spawn but it did break my completionist heart a little. None of these things will stop me from recommending this game to everyone though let's all play this game and have fun :)

Refreshing take on turn-based combat - everything about this game is fun. The music is excellent. This is the first time I've bought the soundtrack for a game on Steam. My only complaint is that it's too short. Sequel!

very cute, very straightforward, big heart. its politics are good, but I wish the delivery was a bit less didactic. would've loved just a smidge more bite (at no sacrifice to the rest)
