Game is broken, it's playable but really frustrating. Heroes Heroes fear- rolls a 1d100 every 3 seconds. My Heroes just dies because they decided to attacks full hp monster while they are: Fear=100/100 HP=10/400. Even with fear randomly changing from 100 to 0 and back fear does nothing, heroes just goes to their death. Huge problem is that Defending flag/quest doesnt work at all, heroes can take quest but will not even go to it. So lets say palace is attacked, you place a defend flag on palace or nearby ground, heroes does nothing about it, what you should do in that situation? There is a bell that supposed to gather heroes to defend palace, but it's never working, heroes ignore it. Boom and now you don't have palace and lost the game, just because heroes ignore defend flag and bell. Quest reward doesnt work at all which is critical for game in that genre. Quests here have attractiveness meter which supposed to be filled with money so it attract at least 1 hero. Problem heroes still not taking this quest no matter if attractiveness filled or you offer a lot of gold, also the thing mentioned with defending quest even if quest taken heroes don't do it. there's gold, there's gold, there's adventure, and dare i say there's gold. overall i have a lot of fun with this game. it does have a few bugs and loading issues but otherwise i enjoy it and can't wait to see what comes next!

This game has so much potential but its lacking a few crucial things. - optimization on bigger setups - Proper scaling and balancing - Making the subsystems of the game more readable like adventurer skills. - some poor AI choices that make for frustrating experiences. I think for the price that this game is, its certainly worth it. however weather or not the game goes down as one of the best indie RTS's will entirely depend on content updates and rebalances.

This game is really cool and fun, you can feel the passion poured into it, and still being poured into it. It's being polished still, and so I hope to see it reach a truly completed stage, because I absolutely adore it. Overall it's a good experience, though with a warning that it takes time to understand it and can frustrate you not by its difficulty, but by its lack of clarity. Reading the other reviews, I feel its main issue boils down to this: it doesn't tell the player about its core mechanics explicitely enough, and the feedback of the underlying (quite complex) system it runs on lacks some better indicators. The game's systems are actually coherent, but their presentation is obscure. In some parts it feels like it's on purpose by the devs. Like, the game is challenging less by the gameplay itself, but more so in that new players need to spend the time to uncover its mechanics and understand them. Even after a dozen hours, you still uncover features and interactions that were hidden in plain sight for the entire time prior.
