one of the best Anno games out there1 found this helpful
This game will litterally crash after some amount of time, usually a few hours, due to "not having enough RAM available" (playing on a high end PC with 64GB RAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Was fun when I played it. I'll replay it again at some point just to doublecheck if my memory does not deceive me.
played for many hours
strategy, city-builder, resource management, trade/battle game. graphics impressive given the age and complexity of the basic game (2009). I have a grand selection of similar games but this is better imo than AoE2 due to the building maintenance aspect which doesn't figure in AoE2. I downloaded Anno 1404 and the Anno 1404: Venice some years ago but only got back to it recently
