Conan Unconquered

DO NOT BUY, EVEN AT A DISCOUNT Watch a gameplay video on youtube before buying. From the pictures I thought I was getting Stronghold but Conan. It feels more like a mid mobile game, which doesn't sound bad until you remember how low that bar is. Buildings are tiny and every character is 20 feet tall. I know this is common with RTS but from the pictures I saw I was expecting slightly more realistic scaling. Though small the buildings take up a ton of what little space you have on the map and many can only be built at distant locations around the monster filled map. What is the point of buying expensive walls and towers if you are always expanding. It's less of a Siege RTS and more like a bad RPG RTS. This game feels rushed and as if they tried to do too many things at once. clearly they spent the entire budget on the licencing.

Dear Conan Team, first of all, I want to give you huge praise for this game. At first, I thought, "What is this rubbish? It's just defense—how boring," but it challenged me, and I started to enjoy it. I’m five levels further along now and having fun, but what *isn't* fun is when the game saves right in the middle of an attack—especially when the main buildings are under assault. I wasted three hours today expanding the base, including defenses and walls. Then the enemy shows up; my palace is burning and down to one-fifth of its health, and the game saves. I could have hit the roof—there’s nothing more infuriating than that! Please allow for manual saving without having to exit the game. It would also be great to have *Command & Conquer*-style attacks or special missions featuring Conan himself. I’m only at 13% progress, so maybe these features already exist, but if not, please consider adding them. A thousand thanks for bringing the *Command & Conquer* team on board to help. That was actually the reason I gave this game a chance—along with my love for *Conan Exiles*, of course. Fire gets very tedious very quickly

Look, the game is a little janky compared to the company's previous titles like grey goo. It's a lot less polished. Yet, the game's really fun and I keep coming back to it. It's what we all want: base building, wave defense, The heroes are a little too powerful, but it's fine. Try it out!
