About Dice Goblin's Den
Dice Goblin's Den is a 2D side-scrolling Tower Defense Roguelite game where you defend your fellow Goblins from waves of "heroes" who have been given quests at the local tavern to pillage and loot your home! Grow your goblin den and strengthen your economy by journeying to different levels to gather more resources while fending off your enemies! Unlock new classes to play when you defeat each enemy party leader! Each class has its own abilities that can alter your tactics and benefit your goblins in a unique way!Defend yourself from enemy forces who are quested with the task of raiding your party and looting your corpses!Gather resources and manage your own economy, but be wary of the balance of allocating them between combat and worker units. It can be dangerous to spend too many resources hiring workers instead of combat units to defend your goblin den, but sometimes being greedy pays off!Gain resources passively each day by hiring workers and allocating them to gather whichever specific resources you think will best serve your goblin den!Upgrade your goblins by way of spells, abilities, and attributes at the cost of resources! But be careful not to put all of your dice in one basket! Goblins together strong!
It wouldn't be very dicey without all the uncertainty of a Roguelite, now would it?! Play with randomized levels, enemies, loot, and upgrades! Every playthrough is its own unique experience, and it's up to you to beat the odds by adapting to what luck throws your way, choosing the best rewards for the occasion, and employing clever strategies. But be careful! Defeat will set you right back to the drawing board!
Coming soon to a Goblin Den near you!

Starting off, theres 15 waves per stage, with 4 stages, every stage is a random map within a map pool besides last stage which is always the same map and opponent. Minmaxing is *required*, not optional. Stats ------ Theres stats in the game but theres barely 1 stat on average thats useful to the goblins. Theyre all explained ingame on mouseover, except wis, which raises perception which does.... no clue. - Does it make the goblins see further? What does it help a melee goblin if its range is melee anyways? - Actually useful thing it gives 5% healing for healers only (wis, not perception). Heroes also have stats, but you cant see them except when you start a new run and when you win a stage. - This is especially annoying when theres keepsakes (upgrades, more on this later) that doubles the stat bonus of one of your heros stats. Goblins start out on 10 all stats, bards buff +2 all stats, max cap is 20 (22 with bard) which you can get to by upgrading with valuable resources, (if the goblin dies, too bad, rip resources) and debuffs lower them by -10. RNG Hell ----------- RNG buff /debuff on every turn, can only be influenced by 2 rare keepsakes, and the effects you can sometime…6 found this helpful
Ngl I picked this up because I really liked the cute pixel art. As someone who does not play tower defense games, this was quite the challenge for me. Once I figured out my strategy (don’t sleep on alchemists) and actually paid attention to the tips from the dev in the corner I got into a good rhythm and started getting somewhere. I also was happy to find that once you unlock the different in game hirelings, they stay unlocked in future play throughs. I thought I was going to have to re-unlock them every time I failed(and believe me, I failed ALOT). Now that’s kind of know what I’m doing, I’m determined to unlock all the characters (even though I’m still pretty bad at it).3 found this helpful
Takes some time to get used to. It's definitely a slow burn. It has an overall progression system which is the main objective so you can survive for as long as possible. After that you find yourself with more resources and flexibility. Takes some time to take off and let you experiment more. But it does have some unique fun ideas.2 found this helpful
This game has shown me the struggles of goblins, and just how unfair we've treated them for so long! You are trying to make your way in the world and all these jerks just wanna get ya. Build up your defenses, upgrade your units, get better items, and show the world that goblin's have what it takes to be on top! Very fun game, with a lot of good humor that got me cracking up during my fights. The units are interesting, diverse, and rewarding. I'd recommend it to anyone.2 found this helpful
very fun game with a cute art style, I got my ass beat the first few tries but once you get the hang of its there's some depth to explore1 found this helpful
Very cute art style, a lot of fun. I'd recommend it for people who are 'really' into these types of games, tower defense and such. My only real issue is a little hard for people who are either new to the genre or not very good at it to begin with, but I love watching all the animations and the goblins do their thing.
