Anno 117: Pax Romana

I regret buying this and passing the refund time, this is such a downgrade in everyway possible The content is so basic that it feels like three drunk/high guys on a sofa thought about it The 'DLC' are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cosmetics and only cosmetics. I mean ALL the 'DLC', Crownfall should haver never been a 'DLC'. Which bring the first point : you guys nailed Anno 1800 with the DLC. Anno 117 should have been a upgrade, not a downgrade and, in 5 years with 300$ 'worth' of 'DLC', the same level as it's predecessor. I didn't notice nor have any memories of the music or soundtrack or anything related to sound, blain and plain THERE'S A WORD FOR A WOMAN AT THE SAME STATUT LEVEL AS A PATRICIAN AND IT'S CALLED A MATRICIAN, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HELL CALL HER A DOMINA IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE ROMAN EMPIRE A wide variaty of three, yes three, not four, not five, but three ship. Stunning, brilliant. Roads that goes diagonal, wow, innovative, game changing, marvelous, genius, 1000 IQ You but two building beside each others? There's 4 fires, 2 riot and 7 new plagues. Bit of a letdown after Anno 1800. There are a few improvements like building placement matters more by giving buffs and penalties to other buildings in range (but buffs of the same type don't stack, so no shoving all industry together). The tech and religion systems are fine for what they are. Optional needs are also a nice improvement so you have a bit of flexibility in how you build up. Of the two base game maps, Latium is enjoyable, but the Celtic one is obnoxious with its over-reliance on tier 1 workers combined with cramped space. Also, they really want you to go into warfare in this installment (technically optional but a third of the research tree and benefits are built around it) and the combat just isn't very good. Ship kiting is more annoying than with 1800 and ground combat feels out of place, plus is also workforce-hungry. The campaign is unfortunately awful. You're capped to level 2 workers for the entire duration, which means you have to deal with the negatives of low services while only having the basic buildings to deal with it. Spamming firehouses doesn't feel great, and is also not the intended way to play, given early level 3 offers all kinds of tools to…

I think its pretty fun. I haven't had a chance to really delve deep into 1800 which I hear is the gold standard, but so far enjoying 117.

good anno exp

I am fan of the anno serie since 1404. This is the best game of the serie in my opinion. After a long day of work, I jump into my save and anjoy the beautiful sunset, the view and escape for a while. It took a while to transition from the excellen 1800. Mostly it takes time to change from a technology driven progression to a cultur driven progression on the supply chain. Each supply chain is simple beautiful and there are so many of them.. I have great time on it and highly recommand it.
