I bought this game a few days ago and I have been playing it for a bit over 10 hours now, on Linux. The game itself is very good. My first Anno was 1800, 2 years ago, then I moved onto 117, both on console, then I decided to give it a shot and try the older Anno games on Linux. So I got 2205 first, it is different from the others, both in terms of its futuristic setting and also for the production chain management: for instance, production buildings have modules, you sell goods directly at the NPC (so no need to load the cargo onto a ship). About running it on Linux, it is very smooth, in my experience. Very. Congratulations to Steam (Valve) and all the people that made it happen. You see, I was afraid it could be glitchy, but no, these 10 hours were a breeze. I definitely recommend it.1 found this helpful
Bei weitem nicht so gut wie Anno 1800, aber ich mochte die Welt und die Idee eines Anno in der Zukunft. Es ist kein Spiel in dem ich Anno-typisch für hunderte Stunden versinken kann, aber wenn der Preis gerade mal runter gesetzt ist würde ich es jedem Anno Fan empfehlen zumindest mal einmal durchzuspielen.
