It works smoothly. I enjoy the old history based games where you had a chance to learn something or connect school to something exciting. It is a slower pace and way less overstimulating and stressy than current games. A good city builder in my opinion. Very terra nullis and colonialist which is the sad part.
The ultimate relax and build game, Anno 1404 just scratches that itch for a relaxing builder set in the past
